Welcome fellow book nerds! I'm again thrilled to be a part of the YA Scavenger Hunt. This season I'm #TeamGreen.
Picture
If this is your first time to play, here are the rules:

Somewhere in my post, you'll see a special number in GREEN. Add it to your score sheet because once you've collected all the numbers from tthe green team, you'll add them together. That sum will be your code. Once you have the code, go here to fill out the entry form for the grand prize.
Meet Sara Fujimura, the author of Tanabata Wish.

Phoenix-native Skyler Doucet’s plans with her
BFF are ruined when her mom and Japanese
stepfather move the entire family to Nagoya,
Japan for the summer before her senior year.
But when David Takamatsu, a biracial Japanese-American boy, invades Skyler’s space (and her heart), this fish out of water in Japan starts to wonder if it’s the pond back home that might be too small.

At Amazon.

About Sara: She began her writing career as a journalist, so it’s no surprise that even her fiction has a lot of fact woven into it. Whether you are a Japanophile, a foodie, or just like to go behind-the-scenes of your books, here are three things to help bring TANABATA WISH to life. First up, Sara is one of those authors who creates a playlist to go with each of her projects. It helps her reconnect to her story quickly every time her butt hits the chair. Here are the Top 5 songs that Sara listened to a bazillion times while creating TANABATA WISH. Did you know that Sam Tsui is biracial like David Takamatsu? Kina Grannis is even half-Japanese, like David, too.

I want you to meet T. H. Hernandez. She's promoting her book THE UPRISING (The Union Vol. 3).

Recovering from a near-fatal gunshot wound, eighteen-year-old Evan Taylor must find a way to stop the Uprising, an underground movement committed to destroying the Union, before her homeland is attacked.

After spending the last four months in the Ruins trying to get back to the only girl he's ever loved, nineteen-year-old Cyrus needs to get past his jealousy over Evan's involvement with Bryce or risk losing her again.

To
gether, Evan and Cyrus join with their friends to devise a plan to save both the Ruins and the Union, but when the pressure’s on, bickering and infighting threaten to undermine their goals.

New information revealing a weakness in the Uprising is uncovered, forcing them to act quickly or risk losing everything. With the help of old friends and new allies they set out to make history, but it might just take a miracle for everyone to make it out alive.

THE UPRISING is the third book in THE UNION series, a young adult romantic adventure set in the near future.

"The Uprising was an epic journey that had me devouring the pages as fast as possible! I easily found myself lost in all of the adventure, love, laughter, loss and plenty of risks all over again. "
-Jen @ Star-Crossed Book Blog, ★★★★★

"The Union Series from TH Hernandez has been a refreshing and well written Young Adult series from the very beginning! It captured me on page one of the first book and I have been waiting on bated breath to see what happens with the characters and the world that Hernandez has so wonderfully shared."
-readingteeners Amazon Reviewer, ★★★★★

"Another AMAZING read! Hernandez NAILS it once again. I cannot stop feeling what I feel for this series and its characters. All of the elements that made the first two books fantastic were also very present in this story."
-Christina, Goodreads Reviewer, ★★★★★
